1. Privacy at a glance

This website is a personal portfolio. It sets no cookies, embeds no tracking services and does not analyze your behavior. Personal data is only processed when you actively write to me, for example by email.

3. Hosting with Netlify

This website is hosted with Netlify (Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When the page is accessed, Netlify processes technically necessary server log data such as IP address, time of access, page accessed, amount of data transferred and browser type, in order to deliver the website securely and reliably.

The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. I have a legitimate interest in the technically flawless and secure provision of this website. For the transfer of data to the USA, Netlify relies on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

4. Fonts (self-hosted)

The fonts used on this website are delivered locally from this server via next/font. There is no connection to servers of Google Fonts or other third parties, and no personal data is transmitted to external providers in the process.

5. No cookies, no tracking

This website uses no cookies, no Google Analytics and no advertising or tracking services. There is no consent banner, because there is nothing you would need to consent to.

6. Getting in touch

When you write to me by email, I process your details (name, email address and the content of your message) solely to handle your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO for contract-related inquiries, otherwise Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO on the basis of my legitimate interest in answering your message. I delete this data as soon as it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by your browser's address bar changing from http:// to https://, and by the padlock symbol.

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

• Correction or deletion
• Restriction of processing
• Objection to processing
• Data portability

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data. The competent authority is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen.
